  • A depressed fracture (~1cm x 2cm in dimension) to the right parietal near the parietal boss is present.

  • A hinge fracture, complementary to the depressed fracture on the ectocranial surface, is visible endocranially. The healed fracture suggests an anterior to posterior direction of thrust.

    Cavitating lesions, plaques of periosteal bone and enlargement of the frontal diploic vessels are indications of an infection, possibly treponemal in nature. Pitted and woven bone is extensive endocranially (not shown).
