  • Blunt trauma to the face in an inferosuperior direction from right to left has resulted in a depressed and impacted fracture to the nasals and frontal processes of the maxillae, with resorption at the inferior nasals and the nasal margins. Reattachment at the left margin is evident. A possibly concurrent depressed fracture to the left superciliary arch of the frontal, involving the neurovascular bundle area, is present. The fractures are healed.

  • In the left temporosphenoid area, a diastatic fracture is visible in the coronal suture, originating ~1cm superior to the temporal line, radiating directly inferiorly in the sphenosquamosal suture, and terminating at the level of the infratemporal crest. A linear fracture originates at the coronal/squamosal suture intersection and radiates ~2cm in a superoposterior direction, just superior to the squamosal suture. The fractures are healed.

  • The right zygomatic is displaced medially, exhibiting hinge and linear fractures. This injury affects the external and orbital surfaces of the zygomatic, the zygomatic process of the temporal, and the orbital surface of the frontal, where a linear fracture is visible near the zygomaticofrontal suture.

  • A linear fracture to the right lateral pterygoid plate may be coincident with the zygomatic injury. All fractures are healed.
