"Burning damage to the occipital bone (1768). View is from behind, along the sagital plane with the sagital suture above the triangular inca bone. Exfoliation and discoloration extenden across the subcutaneous portion of the bone, but the unafected, prefectly preserved bone below the nuchal line indicates that this area was protected from thermal damage by the thick nucal musculature."
